This beautiful property is set on the edge of Womack Water, in the picturesque village of Ludham. The village boasts a stunning church, as well as picture-postcard thatched cottages, cosy pubs and adorable tearooms. Get out on the water to explore the network of waterways that weave through The Broads National Park, taking you past the fascinating Hunter’s Yard, with its fleet of traditional 1930s yachts. You’ll be within easy reach of Norfolk’s breathtaking east coast, where you can spend a relaxing few hours on the sandy shores of Sea Palling (8 miles) or soak up the traditional seaside atmosphere at Great Yarmouth (14 miles). There are some excellent family attractions within 10 miles, including Bewilderwood and Wroxham Barns.

The cottage has a homely feel, with pretty fabrics, cute artwork, and a plethora of cosy exposed woodwork. The open-plan lounge/diner is a wonderfully sociable space, with large sofas to relax on at the end of an action-packed day and a large, wooden dining table with seating for everyone. A striking exposed beam runs the full length of the ceiling. In the evenings, watch a film on the TV/DVD or listen to music on the CD or via the iPod dock. A light and bright kitchen is also located on the ground floor and comprises an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Heading up the wooden staircase, you’ll discover the three charming bedrooms, all with characterful exposed beams and cute decor. Choose from a double, twin, and children’s bunk bedroom. Completing the first floor is a sleek family bathroom, with a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside, enjoy a relaxing glass of wine at the table and chairs in the delightful, enclosed courtyard. There’s also a shared lawn area, where children can burn off steam. Parking is available for one car.

Comfortable and well equipped cottage in a lovely situation. We linked our stay with hiring a sailing boat from Hunter's Yard, which was a great combination.

The property was excellent for our holiday - in a nice quiet location, well equipped, spotlessly clean, and comfortably furnished. It provided an excellent base to explore the surrounding area. Thoroughly recommended.
