Book a stay at this impressive converted Norfolk barn, located at Briston and nestled in scenic countryside. Also, in a great position for reaching the coast, sandy beaches and other beauty spots, the two-bedroom retreat, which sleeps up to four guests, comes with an enclosed, lawned garden. Pack a picnic and head off on foot or by bicycle to explore your rural surroundings. Visit vibrant Holt, 4 miles away, with its independent shops, as well as cafes and restaurants serving locally sourced food. Head 8 miles to Salthouse to walk along the beach and pick up the Norfolk Coast Path. Plan a trip to Wells-next-the-Sea, 13 miles away, to spend time on the sandy beach, lined with colourful beach huts.

Make your way into this beautiful brick and flint barn to find welcoming accommodation that still presents an abundance of character. At the heart of the retreat is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with exposed beams and brickwork, as well as a spiral staircase up to a mezzanine level. Relax in here in front of the flat screen TV or DVD player or unwind to music via the CD player, iPod dock or DAB radio. Wander over to the kitchen to whip up tasty dishes for your family or friends to enjoy. Find you have a range-style cooker, with gas hob and electric double oven, plus a microwave, in here. There is also a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Set the table for everyone to sit down at or call everyone through to the adjoining conservatory to dine in there instead. Open the doors in here on to the garden on warm days. Also, at ground-floor level, are a double bedroom and family bathroom, with small bath, with seat, shower over the bath and WC. Climb the steep, winding, spiral staircase to reach the twin bedroom up on the mezzanine.

Bask out in the Norfolk sunshine as often as possible. Dine out in the fresh air and gaze up at the dark skies as the starts come out on clear nights. Find you have parking for two cars at the barn.

A lovely property, well maintained, and we had everything we needed for self catering when we didn't eat out.

Ideal touring location for Norfolk. Village road, a B road, carried exceptional level of traffic, possibly a rat run. Very noisy

Great Property that was perfectly located for our needs. Would I stay here again? Yes we would! Good local pub, local shop and close enough as a base to see the North Norfolk coastline..

Ideal for two people, the bedroom upstairs is quite restrictive due to head height etc. However a very nice comfortable and well appointed cottage. We would stay here again if in the area.
