Lovely cottage in a quiet location next door to the owners property. Unexpected welcome pack on arrival which was a lovely touch. Margaret and Bertie were very friendly and helpful when we had some car issues. Situated on a working farm Ronnie and Reggie the pet donkeys were real characters and an added bonus.

A perfect spot for us to visit all the National Trust and English Heritage properties in the area. As well as the heritage railways ! We very much enjoyed the floor show provided by the bird feeder. Plus of course the two donkeys, Ronnie and Reggie ! A delightful stay with friendly owners - and easy parking.

It was a lovely cottage, and great views over the fields. The hosts Margaret and Bertie was very welcoming and even got to feed baby lamb, as it was lambing season. If we wanted to return to that area, we would definitely use cottage again.
