Set just opposite Reepham’s ‘three churches’ phenomenon, history buffs will be fascinated to hear that the town is unique in once having had three churches in one churchyard, of which two remain, only yards apart. Reepham is a small market town which has been designated a conservation area and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. In the town, you’ll find interesting Georgian properties lining a quaint square that hosts weekly market stores. There is an interesting array of independent shops selling local food, clothing, and bespoke fancy goods in the town too; also check out the wide choice of restaurants and pubs you can visit. Explore Top Field Light Railway which is a delight for kids and just 1 mile from town, while Sparham Pools Nature Reserve, Foxley Wood, are all within 6 miles and provide scenic outdoor spaces to walk, cycle and spot Norfolk wildlife. For long treks and cycle rides, consider a day out exploring the length of the 26-mile Marriott’s Way, that runs between Norwich (17 miles) and Aylsham (6.5 miles). To enjoy a busy, bustling atmosphere and enjoy a bit of shopping, head into the city of Norwich, just a 14-mile journey south.
Step through the front door of this retreat and straight into the warm and inviting sitting/dining room, which provides a cosy place to spend the evenings. Settle in front of the TV/DVD to catch up on films and light the wood burner to create a cosy, relaxing atmosphere. In the country-cottage kitchen, an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine make cooking and cleaning easy, while there’s a four-seater table where you can plate up. The bathroom can be found down on the ground floor, and has a shower over the bath and a WC, while the two delightful bedrooms are located on the first floor. Take your pick between one double bedroom and one lovely single.
Behind the house hides a delightful patio area, complete with outdoor table and chairs, so you can sit out on warm days and soak up the sun. There is roadside parking for one car on Church Street and a free car park in town too.
