Six friends or a family group will enjoy this beautifully decorated property with fantastic views, located in Dunwich and close to Suffolk’s popular coastal spots. This little coastal village has a pub, cafe, and museum, as well as a relatively untouched shingle beach that is great for beachcombing and backed by the Dingle Marshes Nature Reserve. Enjoy wildlife watching at the dramatic landscape of Dunwich Heath Nature Reserve (1 mile) or RSPB Minsmere (2 miles). Just 8 miles up the coast is the fabulous seaside town of Southwold with its wide variety of shops and restaurants, and superb pier with an arcade. Bring your paddleboard or kayak and take to the water on the River Blyth at Walberswick (6.5 miles).
On entering the ground floor, you will find a remarkable open-plan living space. Rustle up some breakfast or cook up delicious dinners in the contemporary kitchen area, and enjoy eating together around the six-seater dining table. From the lounge, admire the far-reaching views out the window before settling down on the sofa and watching TV. There is a handy utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a downstairs shower room. Upstairs are the three bedrooms. First up is the superb king-size bedroom which has a fabulous glass vaulted ceiling and Juliette balcony, providing magnificent views across the marshes. This room boasts its own en-suite shower room. The other two bedrooms are made up of a double in the eaves, and a twin room which has its own TV. A stylish family bathroom with shower over the bath completes the interior of the retreat.
Outside is a lovely, enclosed garden. The doors from the lounge open up onto a delightful patio with garden furniture and a BBQ, the perfect place to dine alfresco. A lawned area provides room for children to play while adults can spot wildlife in the marshes beyond.
