The fishing village of Staithes fishing is less than 2 miles away; it’s a pretty place with coloured cottages and a fleet of cobles (traditional fishing boats) pulled up on the sides of the harbour.
The hut, reached via two external steps, has a sturdy timber frame, is fully insulated and there’s also an electric heater to keep you warm. Inside, it has hard flooring and a night sky-inspired ceiling with printed stars and spotlights. Store your belongings in the handy chest of drawers and rustle up a meal in the kitchen area which has a small fridge, ceramic hob and microwave oven with grill. There’s a door that leads into the bathroom with a WC and shower cubicle.
The best part of staying in this hut is being able to enjoy the great outdoors. You have a private decked area with a table and chairs that seats two and a stunning south-facing view of the meadow.
