This spacious property makes for a perfect romantic bolthole or a home base for a small family and is within half a mile of town, making for an easy downhill walk (you can take the bus back as there’s a bus stop a few yards from the property). Dartmouth itself is one of South Devon’s most popular towns, with water sports aplenty on the River Dart and at Blackpool Sands, 4 miles away. You can also walk part of the South West Coast Path for fantastic coastal views or catch a ferry to Torquay, Salcombe or Totnes.
In the months of May through to November why not attend one of the many local events and festivals in the area like the Dartmouth Music Festival, Dartmouth Royal Regatta, Dartmouth Food Festival, Torbay Air Show, Brixham Pirate Festival, Devon County Show.
The front door of the property is accessed via steps onto the porch. An open-plan living/dining area features a comfortable corner sofa, a wood burner in an exposed stone fireplace and an oak dining table seating six. Head upstairs for a family bathroom and the two bedrooms, one a double and one with twin beds. The hanging space for the twin room is on the landing outside.
There is a sloped garden to the front of the property and the rear garden has sun all day and a decked area on two levels with seating and a BBQ. There are steep steps from the kitchen into the rear garden; children must be supervised at all times outside.
