Built in the 1960s but paying homage to the white-washed architectural Art Deco buildings in coastal California, this unique holiday cottage boasts spectacular views across the seascape. Located in the sleepy seaside village of Overstand, still a relatively undiscovered part of the Norfolk coast, it is perfectly placed for those looking to enjoy a more sedate pace, whilst enjoying the benefits of having busier resorts on your doorstep. Cromer and its bustling activities sits just 2 miles north, while Mundesley is 5 miles south.
Inside the property is bright and airy, having been lovingly renovated by its owners in a contemporary seaside style. The sitting room is warm and inviting, with a large L-shaped sofa and additional cosy seating arranged around the wood burner. With large picture windows and a fully glazed door leading onto the patio, this room offers fantastic views. The kitchen, modern and bright, is an inviting space and with the spacious dining area adjacent to this, it’s a thoughtfully designed social area to spend time in. A snug also sits off the dining room and is a great spot for reading. On the first floor there are three good-sized bedrooms. Bedroom one has a super-king-size bed, boasts sea views and has an en-suite. Bedroom two, also roomy, has a king-size bed and the third bedroom includes a single bed with an optional trundle (please request on booking). This floor also houses a large bathroom with a corner bath, monsoon shower cubicle and WC.
Outside, the view from the garden is beautiful. An enclosed lawned area looks across the vast seascape. Enjoy the BBQ, patio table and chairs and additional outdoor seating peppered around the outside of the property.
