The comfortable and convenient property is just under a mile from the centre of Holt, a pretty town made for browsing, with a fascinating line-up of shops, many selling fresh local produce, galleries and cafes. Nearby Holt Country Park offers walks, bike rides and treasure hunts through more than 100 acres of unspoiled woodland. From Holt, you can travel to the seaside town of Sheringham (7 miles) along the Poppy Line heritage railway, drawn by steam or diesel engines. Climb the three external steps to the front door and step inside. Two sofas and a matching armchair in the light and bright living room provide ample seating in which to relax, watch TV or use the iPod Dock and CD player. Doors lead through to an airy conservatory used as a dining room, with a table plus chairs for six and a door to the garden. A good-sized kitchen has a gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, with room for a small breakfast table with two chairs. There is also a cloakroom with a WC. Upstairs, the two double bedrooms have country-style beds with pretty floral prints enhancing the gentle colour scheme and soft lighting. The bedroom for young children has a folding bed.
Parents with curious tots can relax in the small garden at the rear, which is fully fenced and has a painted bench, table, chairs and a BBQ for those warm evenings. Two small or one medium-to-large car can park off-road and there is also on-road parking.
