This light and contemporary property is set in the village of Frogmore on a scenic road between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. Frogmore was once a bustling port, but is now better known as a thriving village with an excellent bakery/café, village shop and pub. The popular resort of Salcombe, with its extensive waterfront and naturally sheltered harbour, is 7 miles away.

Riverside House is perfect for families, generations, friends, milestone celebrations, walkers and seascape/landscape artists. If you are a lover of the water it is also a fabulous location to enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, boating and fishing.

This high-specification property has everything you need for a perfect family stay, with a country kitchen furnished with all the latest appliances and underfloor heating, and a large entrance hallway and a separate living room with quality solid oak flooring. There is a downstairs cloakroom and a double bedroom with a TV. The living room has a wood burner and formal dining table seating ten . Bi-fold doors open out onto the south facing balcony with furnished with a table, chairs, sunbeds, parasols and a gas plancha/griddle, and with views out to the Salcombe-Kingsbridge Estuary. There are three bedrooms on the first floor, one with a king-size bed, one with a king-size/twin zip-and-link bed and one with a double bed. All the bedrooms have TVs and estuary views. Two bathrooms, one has a walk-in shower and the other has a shower over the bath.

Find a 6ft pool/table tennis table in the garage and three kayaks to explore the estuary. A garden opposite the house is on four levels including three lawn areas and two patios with seating. The garden continues down to the estuary, where you’ll find a summerhouse with comfortable furniture  to relax around the areas outstanding natural beauty with a range of garden games for family entertainment.

  • Private parking for 2 medium-sized cars in the garage, plus 1 car outside the garage and 1 car down the slipway beside the garden – there is additional on-street parking but these spaces cannot be guaranteed

  • Do not allow children to play unsupervised around the creek
  • Beware of reversing out of the driveway onto the main road and keep the driveway clear of cars as it is a public right of way
