Located in the peaceful village of Keswick to the south of Norwich, this romantic bolthole for two is ideal for exploring Norfolk’s rich variety of landscapes, cities and towns. Only 3.5 miles from the centre of Norwich, you can discover its beautiful cathedral, interesting museums and galleries, and quirky shops and eateries. Alternatively, walkers may want to head out of the city on the 26-mile Marriott Way towards Aylsham. The Norfolk Broads National Park (15 miles) is a must-see, where you can take to one of the many waterways and enjoy the area’s stunning flora and fauna. Heading to the coast, bustling Cromer is in the north, whilst seaside favourite, Great Yarmouth is 22 miles east.
Tastefully decorated in a modern country-cottage style, this one-storey property is welcoming and comfortable throughout. Light tones and subtle prints add charm, whilst timeless furniture creates a sense of comfort and familiarity. Firstly, there is a cosy lounge with two sofas, so it’s up to you if you snuggle up or have your own space. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with everything you’ll need to cook up a storm while enjoying pretty garden views. When you’re ready to eat, head to the separate dining room to plan the next day’s adventure over a good meal. Completing the accommodation is one, beautifully presented double bedroom and a shower room with walk-in shower.
The back door in the kitchen leads out to a delightful, south-facing courtyard, which is perfect for a morning coffee or an evening tipple. Guests are also welcome to make use of the owners’ tennis court (by arrangement), so don’t forget to pack your racquets.
