This is an immaculately presented and homely, family cottage right in the centre of town. Looe is a characterful Cornish fishing town with pretty winding streets and a small working harbour. The town is divided in two by the River Looe and there are numerous walks to enjoy along the river and coastline. The town is a real foodie destination with plenty of fresh fish on the menu in its great range of restaurants. By day, guests can make the most of the sandy beach and rock pools or watch the world go by from a cute café on the harbour. There are many options for day trips, perhaps along the coast to Polperro 6 miles away, or inland to Liskeard, 8 miles distant. The excellent Eden Project is 22 miles away.
This authentic fisherman's cottage is set across three floors on a picturesque paved walkway just 50 metres from the seafront. The front door opens into the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with exposed wooden beams throughout bringing that old-world feel. There are comfortable sofas and an inglenook fireplace, as well as an ample dining table and kitchen. Up the staircase on the first floor, you'll find one double bedroom and a twin room, along with a shared bathroom. A steep flight of wooden stairs leads to the second floor. Here there are two further double bedrooms and a shower room. Traditional features and sloped ceilings in some rooms give the whole cottage a very quaint and cosy feel.
There is no outside space, but with the beach and the harbour just 100 metres away, the whole town is your back yard.
