One of a small collection of cottages located within the grounds of Parc Newydd, this traditional stone barn conversion is the perfect place to escape to with family and friends. Nestled in the countryside and  just 7 miles from the maritime village of Moelfre, guests enjoy access to extensive grounds and picturesque countryside on the outskirts of the village of Llanerchymedd.

This single-storey conversion is full of characterful touches. From the garden, step into the comfortable open-plan living room/dining room with a wood floor, wood-burning stove, and exposed stone feature wall. After a day of fun outdoor activities, sip hot chocolate by the crackling fire before retiring to bed. The modern kitchen features ample storage, subway tiles, a wood-beamed ceiling, and wooden floors. The comfortable double bedroom offers an inviting space to slumber, while the second bedroom offers two single beds complemented by tasteful décor. The shower room has a corner shower unit, heated towel rail, and WC.

There is an outdoor seating area to the front of the cottage plus an additional shared seating area with access to a barbecue opposite. Secure bike storage is available on the grounds.

Owl cottage was perfect for our first visit to Anglesey. Centrally located on the island it was ideal for exploring but was also tucked away in a little corner of paradise created by the owner Andrew. Perfect for a dog friendly holiday we only had to step out of the cottage and there was an idyllic lake walk on our doorstop. The cottage itself was Read morevery cosy with a wood burning stove and well equipped kitchen. We were very fortunate with the weather and so were able to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon tea sitting outside, listening to the birdsong. Andrew was on hand to help with anything that cropped up and to offer invaluable advise as to the best beaches to visit and places to eat. All in all we had a great week at Owl Cottage, were sad to leave and will definitely return. Hide

Cottage was good. However it was advertised as having WiFi,which was only working if you opened a window and leant out with your phone. Poor advertising, misleading. We wouldn't have booked the cottage if we'd known how the WiFi actually worked

We enjoyed a secluded and quiet, yet very central, location. The cottage was very comfortable, the sunny and warm weather certainly helping. The cottage is within easy driving distance from most of the key points on the island, so it was ideal for our purposes. We did find that the Wifi we expected wasn't really working during our visit and this waRead mores an occasional issue given these days so much research and arrangements need to be made online. The owner was welcoming and friendly, and Mollie the dog visited us from time to time. Hide

Andrew was lovely, very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely peaceful stay in Owl Cottage. There's a beautiful lake on our doorstep to walk around which our little dog Maggie loved. Lovely place to stay with a very friendly host too. The place is a lot nice than the photos on the website.
