This lovely Edwardian home provides a luxurious base for a large group of family or friends to enjoy the delights of Padstow. The pretty harbour is just 400 metres downhill from the property.  From there you can explore the town's many attractions, including a great range of boutiques and stylish souvenir shops. Foodies will be in their element here with many renowned restaurants to book a table at. Alternatively, you can enjoy some of the best fish and chips in Cornwall alfresco on the harbourside. Walkers can join the Camel Trail hiking trail from the town and head inland towards Bodmin. This is also a great cycle route and bikes can be easily hired in the town. There are sandy beaches galore within 0.5 miles on either side of the town and beautiful coastal walks. Sightseeing boat trips can be taken from the harbour or you can catch the Black Tor ferry over to Rock and walk along to Daymer Bay.

The house is set on a desirable residential street close to the harbour. Steps lead up from the pavement to the front door. The master king-size bedroom on the second floor enjoys panoramic estuary views with a table and chairs set up to make the most of it. This room has an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Double doors in the dining area lead out into the tiered fenced-in back garden. Steps lead up to a paved patio area with a small lawn. It was an excellent, well equipped property for a large family gathering, with splendid views of the Camel estuary across to Rock.

A very pleasant holiday home with plenty of space, spotlessly clean, great welcome pack with local foods, tastefully decorated with upmarket furniture. Close location to town, hope to return

Good size property and great location. Although we were told by Original cottages that there was no cot or high chair, these are both present in the house. Knowing this would have saved us transporting them in the car, or spending additional money hiring them. Apart from this, the house worked really well for 6 adults and 2 small children

Great property for a family just a few minutes walk to the centre of Padstow. Easy access to the Camel cycle trail - an excellent day out. Lovely walk to Hawkers Cove and the tea rooms nearby. The house was generally well equipped with comfortable beds and great estuary views especially from the second floor bedroom. Clearer instructions about refuRead morese / recycling etc would have been helpful. Rear garden perhaps needs some improvement. The check in time of 5pm is very late and unnecessary in current times. Really good holiday home for all the family. Lots of child thought gone into the home. Plastic cups lots of games both inside and outside. Locks on doors all high. Ducks in bathroom just great thought. Outside is a little steep both front and back but not an issue but something to think about. Top bedroom lovely, fantastic en-suite. Bed ok but agaiRead moren a small issue. Would definitely visit this house again. Hide

One of the best holiday properties I've ever stayed in - and I've stayed in lots of them. We loved the blinds within the double glazing - very clever. Everything was well thought out. Masses of games/toys. It really was exceptional.
