From there you can explore the town's many attractions, including a great range of boutiques and stylish souvenir shops. Foodies will be in their element here with many renowned restaurants to book a table at. Alternatively, you can enjoy some of the best fish and chips in Cornwall alfresco on the harbourside. Walkers can join the Camel Trail hiking trail from the town and head inland towards Bodmin. This is also a great cycle route and bikes can be easily hired in the town. There are sandy beaches galore within 0.5 miles on either side of the town and beautiful coastal walks. Sightseeing boat trips can be taken from the harbour or you can catch the Black Tor ferry over to Rock and walk along to Daymer Bay.

From there a further set of steps take you up to a raised deck where you can enjoy outside dining and another area of lawn. The garden is enclosed but there are unfenced steps and varying levels.
