A bright and welcoming one-bedroom apartment perched beside one of the most popular beaches in this historic seaside town. Spend time wandering the narrow and winding streets of St Ives, home to an eclectic mixture of cafes, restaurants, bars and independent shops, just 100 metres from the apartment. This is the perfect location for those who love the beach, whether you want to simply relax on the sand or spend time in the water enjoying a variety of sports. The golden sands of Porthmeor, Porthgwidden or Porthminster, three beaches of varying sizes are all located within 250 metres of the apartment. A fourth, Harbour Sand, is right outside the front door. St Ives is also home to the Tate St Ives – one of just four Tate museums in the world and the town is awash with galleries showcasing local artists’ work, much which has been inspired by Cornwall’s awe-inspiring natural beauty.
The cottage, which is found directly on the beach, is laid out over three floors, with guests entering the cottage on the first floor, directly off Quay Street. There are touches of old and new in the living room, which features a window seat, comfortable sofas and an armchair arranged around the fireplace, everything set out below wooden ceiling beams reflecting the natural light pouring into the room. Next door, the kitchen has a dining space with seating for two, the perfect place to enjoy fish and chips after a long day of exploring the area. The back door from the kitchen leads straight out to Harbour Sands. The second floor is home to a double room which features a window seat and a gorgeous en-suite comprising a roll-top bath and WC.
Outside, at beach level, from the rear door to the kitchen you can step right out onto the beach where there is a small area with a table and seating. What better place to enjoy more stunning views of Harbour Sand and St Ives in the distance?
