This spacious country cottage is set in an elevated position with far-reaching views. It is ideal for a family or group of friends to enjoy a relaxing holiday together. Guests will find themselves in the heart of Snowdonia with many beautiful walks to enjoy from their doorstep. The attractive market town of Dolgellau is just 2 miles away. The town’s charming streets are home to more listed buildings than anywhere else in Wales, so architecture enthusiasts will be in their element. As you wander, you’ll come across many interesting independent shops and plenty of cafes and traditional pubs to stop off at. The town and the surrounding countryside also boast some excellent restaurants. For walking, guests will be spoilt for choice with many trails to discover. The Mawddach Trail is a popular riverside route that winds its way from Dolgellau to the coast at Barmouth 9 miles away. For mountain bikers, the Coed-y-Brenin Mountain Biking Centre is 4 miles away with trails to suit all levels and ages. There are opportunities nearby for horse riding and fishing and all sorts of water sports at Bala Lake 19 miles away. For a day at the beach, the sandy stretches of Barmouth and Fairbourne Beach are 9 miles away.

Spacious and comfortable, the cottage is decorated in a classic style throughout. Downstairs, there is a large living room with an inglenook fireplace with a flame-effect electric fire and plenty of sofas. The country kitchen and diner is a sociable space where guests can gather to cook and eat together. The large conservatory is a wonderful feature of the home offering several more sofas to relax on and fantastic views – there is also a second TV in this space should it be needed. Upstairs, guests will find three bright and comfortable bedrooms with lovely countryside views. The family bedroom features a double bed (accessed via one side only) and a single bed, as well as an en-suite shower room. In addition, there is a king-size bedroom and a twin room. These two rooms share the use of the main bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The gardens are very private with lawns and several patio areas with seating. There is a space equipped with a table and chairs, fire pit and a BBQ for al fresco cooking and dining. These outdoor seating areas enjoy spectacular views across the open countryside to the mountains of Snowdonia.

Lovely cottage. Really spacious and really clean. Owners close by but didn't intrude. When asked about 'Bins and other Routines' was told 'just enjoy your holiday and leave it all to us'. A blessing as normally there is a list of what to do. Would stay again as lots to do in the area.

Lovely spacious accommodation which has a high standard of cleanliness. Very comfortable with a nice fully enclosed garden to keep our dog safe! The kitchen is very well equipped and the view from the front of the property is nice. There is a pleasant walk down the lane opposite the property that leads to an area by a river for those with dogs!

Lovely cottage, well equipped, fabulous views. Only gave a 4 for location as quite near the main road. Due to the elevated position the road did not spoil our enjoyment.

This is a lovely property in a very quiet area. A car is essential for visiting places of interest as there is nothing in the village itself. The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. A welcome pack with teabags, milk and a couple of biscuits would have been nice after our long trip. This is something we usually experience when we staRead morey at a property. As there wasnt one we had to immediately travel out to find a shop. Hide

Lovely property in a beautiful location with views across the Snowdonia Mountain Range. Good position within easy reach of the coast and North West Wales. The property is very well equipped and plenty of room for a party of four. Wi-Fi and TV reception was excellent and we had a very comfortable and enjoyable few days.
