Take a boat trip to Bardsey Island (leaving from Porth Meudwy, 15.5 miles away), a former site of religious pilgrimage, or relax at Plas Glyn-y-Weddw (10 miles), a magnificent manor with galleries, beautiful gardens and a tearoom with sea views. The first is an en-suite double room featuring a lovely Victorian brass/iron bed and sea views. The second is a luxurious twin which also boasts sea views. There is a separate shower room with a WC near the front door and the ground floor is finished with the utility room. Head up the narrow staircase next to the double room to find the open-plan kitchen/dining/lounge area, a lovely, cosy room with amazing sea and mountain views, stunning sunsets and the bonus of a welcoming wood burner. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining area features a large pine farmhouse table with six pine chairs. The inviting lounge area includes a large chesterfield sofa and a three-seater sofa which opens out into a bed.
