A welcoming holiday home at the foot of Cadair Idris mountain, this dog friendly property is only 2 miles from the lively Dolgellau, deep in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. The property is located on a working sheep farm, and a warm welcome is extended by the owners, who are on hand for advice on local activities and dining options. They’ll even provide a lift into the centre of Dolgellau so that you can relax and enjoy an evening meal at one of the town’s popular restaurants. There are many scenic walking and mountain biking trails nearby – the activity centre at Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park, 12 miles away, is an excellent start point for holiday adventures – and the vast, sandy beaches on either side of the Mawddach Estuary at Fairbourne and Barmouth, both 12 miles away, are simply stunning.
This super, two-storey holiday home offers comfortable accommodation throughout. On the ground floor, you’ll find a lounge/diner with wooden flooring, space to relax and an attractive solid wood dining table and chairs. A smart kitchen with wooden beams, and a family bathroom with a WC complete this floor. Up on the first floor, there are three cosy bedrooms – a double with a cot, a dual-aspect twin, and a cosy single with plenty of storage space.
The large, enclosed garden is a peaceful spot for relaxing outdoors after an active day. It has patio seating, a picnic bench and a wide grassy lawn for run-around games – the owners have thoughtfully provided outdoor toys too.
