This fantastic self-catering cottage is situated on a working farm, where you can roam the grounds or request a private tour. Not many holiday properties provide the opportunity for your children to pet the farm animals. Not only can they discover how a working farm operates, but they can also meet the resident rabbit, pony, cat and dog. The property is located less than 0.5 miles from the village of Sarn Mellteyrn which has several pubs, shop, local butcher, garage and an impressive pottery studio housed in a 16th century stable that boasts a gallery and shop. Just a short drive away (3.5 miles) you’ll find Traeth Penllech which is located on the northern tip of the Llyn Peninsula and provides a mile long stretch of sand on low tide. Explore the natural rock formations and rock pools on this beach and walk to the small waterfall which is located halfway along the beach. To explore some of the best coastal resorts in the area you won’t have to drive much further as Abersoch with abundance of shops, eateries and pubs is just 6.5 miles from the property and Hell’s Mouth is 9 miles away, you can try your hand at many of the watersports on offer at these beaches or simply sit back and watch the surfers ride the waves from the safety of the beach.
It’s difficult not to be impressed when entering this property, as you will be welcomed by an open plan lounge/kitchen with double height ceilings, rustic beams and a beautiful exposed stone wall. Take a seat on one of the two comfortable sofas and listen to some soothing music on the CD player or you can really settle in, put your feet up and switch on the TV. This is a cosy space with a ‘log burner effect’ electric fire. You can rustle up a hearty breakfast or tasty evening meal in the kitchen/dining area which has a fully equipped kitchen and dining table seating 5. On the ground floor, there is a pretty bedroom with a double 4 poster bed and en-suite facilities. Upstairs is a second bedroom with double and single bed and a modern shower room. Perfect for friends sharing who like their own privacy and facilities.
