Discover Anglesey and mainland North Wales, with this three-bedroom cottage as your welcoming base. Situated in a lovely rural spot, it’s just over a mile from Llanfairpwll (Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch) which has the longest place name in Britain! Walk the path from Pwllfanogl (2 miles from the cottage) to Beaumaris — the 7.5-mile trail takes you past famous bridges with fantastic views towards Bangor and Snowdonia and an Edwardian Castle World Heritage Site. Cycle Lon Las Cefni, a flat 13-mile path from Llangefni, or play at Llangefni Golf Course and Driving Range (both 5 miles). Take some lessons at Anglesey Riding Centre (8.5 miles), and spend a day at Llanddwyn Beach, with its miles of sand and romantic history (9 miles).
Inside, an open-plan living area accommodates the lounge – with a TV, a long sofa, an armchair and an electric fire – a dining space and the kitchen. There are three bedrooms, two with double divans and one bedroom with full-size bunk beds. A shower/wet room is fitted with a walk-in shower with shower chairs and a WC with a raised seat (free-standing toilet surround rails can be provided on request.) A second lovely bathroom has an L-shaped bath with an electric shower over.
The garden features a lawn and a patio area with a BBQ, an outdoor dining table for six and bench seating to rest and soak in the scenery; this is all enclosed by traditional stone walls.
