For families, couples or friends searching for a tranquil countryside setting with everything you need within easy reach, look no further than this charming, semi-detached North Wales cottage, surrounded by wonderful, totally unspoilt views of woodland, farmland, mountains and wildlife. A 1.5-mile rural walk will take you to the welcoming local pub in Llanddeiniolen, and you will find a village shop in Bethel, 2 miles away. In under 3 miles, you can be relaxing on the waterfront at Y Felinheli, whilst the castle town of Caernarfon and the city of Bangor are both 5 miles away with gift shops, restaurants and supermarkets. For the more active members of your group, the nature-inspired Greenwood Forest Theme Park is less than a mile away, and the National Water Sports Centre for Wales is 3 miles. With walking paths from your door and many more in the local area, ramblers will be spoilt for choice. Join the Wales Coast Path at Y Felinheli, or tackle Mount Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales. There are two attractive bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with arched patio doors opening onto the garden with fabulous views beyond. The stylish tiled bathroom can be found adjacent.

Outside, you will find a private patio area with a range of modern patio furniture and a fire pit. The good-sized lawn is shared with the neighbouring cottage and bordered by traditional stone walls. The views are spectacular, and it's a beautiful setting for spotting birds and other wildlife.

Reasonably well equipped cottage. Well situated to visit beaches and Snowdonia. Be prepared for the track which is bumpy and has lots of pot holes. Owners helpful and friendly.

I have never seen such helpful and kind hosts. They really made our stay as smooth as possible. Thank you again for everything. We visited Caernarfon, Anglesey, Bangor, Llandudno, Conwy, Llanberis : all of these are within correct distance by car. The cottage is semi detached but we never heard our neighbours. The cottage is well equiped, we did noRead moret lack anything. There is space in the rooms to put our clothes and space in the kitchen to put our groceries. Thank you again :) Hide

We were 3 female friends sharing the cottage and with 2 bedrooms, 1 with twin beds it was ideally suited to our needs. The conversion of the building has been really well done with the retention of some stone walls. The use of slate fragments for the patio and surrounding area guards against the build up of mud. It was lovely to be deep in the counRead moretryside away from traffic, etc. The cottage is also in a very good location for visiting Snowdonia and the coast. Hide

The cottage was lovely, cosy and warm, it had all the equipment you needed for a good stay, We really liked the layout - there was plenty of space for all of us. The bathroom was lovely with plenty of hot water. Wi-Fi worked really well which kept the young adults amused as they could access their phones. It was peaceful and the location was great Read morewith lovely views across the fields. Sian and Steve were excellent hosts and we were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. They were also very lovely when we left too. The property was really clean and the beds very comfortable and it's an excellent location from which to visit lots of great places in North Wales.
