Lending itself to a break with family members of all ages, this converted, stone-built cottage is in a rural location, just 4 miles from town centre amenities. Spend a day on the sheltered sand and shingle beach of the popular seaside town of Aberystwyth (4 miles) or take a drive out to the quieter 3-mile stretch of sandy beach from Borth to Ynyslas (13 miles). There are many stunning walks on the doorstep and along the coast path at Aberystwyth or travel further afield to Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre (15 miles) for three especially scenic trails and to the Hafod Estate (18.5 miles) where you’ll find more challenging hikes. Take the kids pony trekking at Rheidol Riding Centre (9 miles) or on a steam train voyage from Aberystwyth through the Vale of Rheidol to Devil’s Bridge.
Natural light floods in through the patio doors and window in the lounge; from the sofa, you can gaze out onto the open fields, with the sea in the far distance. This room also has an electric fire, a TV with a DVD player, Hi-Fi and a selection of DVDs. Everyone can gather together for a meal in the homely kitchen/diner, which has a TV in the corner for entertainment while cooking. On the same level are the two delightful double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, and a third bedroom with bunk beds. A lovely family bathroom completes this retreat.
The property benefits from a furnished patio with spectacular views of Ceredigion, as well as access to a lawned play area for the children with swings and a slide (this is shared with the other cottages on the development).
