Lending itself to a break with family members of all ages, this converted, stone-built cottage is in a rural location, just 4 miles from town centre amenities. Spend a day on the sheltered sand and shingle beach of the popular seaside town of Aberystwyth (4 miles) or take a drive out to the quieter 3-mile stretch of sandy beach from Borth to Ynyslas (13 miles). There are many stunning walks on the doorstep and along the coast path at Aberystwyth or travel further afield to Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre (15 miles) for three especially scenic trails and to the Hafod Estate (18.5 miles) where you’ll find more challenging hikes. Take the kids pony trekking at Rheidol Riding Centre (9 miles) or on a steam train voyage from Aberystwyth through the Vale of Rheidol to Devil’s Bridge.

Natural light floods in through the patio doors and window in the lounge; from the sofa, you can gaze out onto the open fields, with the sea in the far distance. This room also has an electric fire, a TV with a DVD player, Hi-Fi and a selection of DVDs. Everyone can gather together for a meal in the homely kitchen/diner, which has a TV in the corner for entertainment while cooking. Absolutely wonderful views and the cottage was very comfortable! I would definitely recommend a stay there. Chid friendly with swings and slide outside, and a great BBQ in the garden.

Very fine cottage, an amazing view on the hills and between them the sea from the terrace (with barbecue) and from the drawing room with comfortable chairs. Good beds and showers, large kitchen with all you need to cook. It was rather cold for the time of the year (12), but inside it was warm enough. There is an absolute quietness at night and in tRead morehe morning you hear only the birds and some sheep. Hide

Enjoyed our break away. The cottage was very spacious and had everything that we needed. Very relaxing, enjoyed watching the different birds from the patio. Had a good welcome from the owners, very interesting to see what had been done to the properties. Thanks again.
