This detached stone property has breathtaking views over the Dyfi Estuary and up toward the hills. Relax in the garden whilst watching the sheep and cattle roam in the fields around you or have a session in the hot tub while enjoying the spectacular view of the River Dyfi as it meets the blue waters of Cardigan Bay. There are shops and pubs in Tre’r-ddol (1 mile) and Tal-y-bont (2 miles) and beautiful beaches at Ynys Las (5 miles) and Borth (7 miles), which is also a great place for surfing and windsurfing. The popular seaside town of Aberystwyth is 9 miles away. There are many cycling routes within a few miles and rural and mountain walks starting from the cottage; the Wales Coast Path can be joined at Tre’r Ddol, 1 mile away, and leads to the beach in Borth and Aberystwyth a few miles further south.
Original features such as wood floors and exposed ceiling beams have been retained in this charming cottage. The kitchen includes a Rayburn as well as an oven, and a large oak dining table overlooks the garden. The lounge has a wood burner, and a utility room is in a shed attached to the house. Head upstairs to find the bedrooms, which also feature solid oak furniture – two with super-king-size zip-and-link beds that can be separated into twin beds if required, and another two with small double beds for single occupancy. A bathroom has a shower over the bath.
The enclosed garden at the rear of the cottage has a hot tub with amazing views towards the sea and the hills and next to it, a BBQ and seating area. A football, small tennis bats and a ball are also provided.
