This traditional cottage within the Pembrokeshire National Park generously welcomes 11 guests and three pets into the spacious, classic accommodation for a family or group holiday to this coastal area with scenic surroundings. You’ll have nature all around, including the Pembrokeshire Coast Path (0.2 miles), offering cliff top rambling with sea views. The property owner can organise guided or non-guided walking holidays for guests and pick-up and drop-off services for groups. Discover more nature at Abercastle (0.2 miles), where there’s a picturesque cove and harbour. There’s a small beach at Abercastle, but there are bigger, sandier beaches nearby, including Blue Flag-awarded Whitesands, renowned for surfing (10 miles). Take a delightful day trip to the seaside destination of St David’s (9 miles), Britain’s smallest city, to tour the Cathedral, see Gothic ruins and take boat trips to Ramsey Island, a wildlife haven.

Make memories in this characterful cottage, where the bright, ground-floor lounge boasts lots of windows so guests can look out at the surrounding fields as you relax. Night in? Gather on the comfy seating that’ll fit 12, fire up the wood burner and raid the well-stocked bookshelves or throw family film nights using the TV and DVDs. Prepare family meals in the well-equipped kitchen and tuck in together at the table in the dining room. The laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer will come in handy for families. Generously, all the bedrooms in this cottage are en-suite, starting with the ground-floor room which has a king-size bed and a single bed. The en-suite bathroom has a shower plus the luxury of a freestanding, roll-top bath. Head upstairs to find the three first-floor bedrooms, including a king-size with an en-suite shower room and a room with zip-and-link beds that can rearrange as one super-king or two singles, plus a bed settee that can be used as a single bed and an en-suite shower room. The final bedroom is ideal for families with its super-king bed and two single beds that sit in a separate area to give a little more space and privacy. The en-suite to this room has a shower with smoked glass. All bedrooms except one can be accessed via private external doors (often involving steps) so guests can come and go as they please, flowing in and out of the outdoor space to their private bedrooms and bathrooms, making the house extra social.

Take advantage of the plentiful, private outdoor space at this cottage. There's a raised lawn that kids and dogs will enjoy and a slate patio area that’s a great place for al fresco dining, thanks to the BBQ equipment and picnic table. Several benches mean you’ll always have somewhere to sit to soak up the surroundings. Fields just beyond the garden makes it feel extra spacious.

There were ten of us staying from age 7 to 78 and the cottage was enjoyed by all of us. It's in a stunning location and we were really lucky in this predominately wet summer to have glorious weather except for the last day. We were able to have almost all our meals outside where there is plenty of space. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious Read moreand there was plenty of natural light except in the downstairs bedroom. The kitchen was really well equipped but somewhat randomly arranged so we found ourselves walking backwards and forwards to find crockery and cutlery rather often. Plenty of fridge space and a really decent cooker. Hide

It's a quirky cottage that grows on you. The kitchen is very functional for a large group - no shortage of freezer or fridge space. Upstairs the rooms are a reasonable size and the downstairs bedroom large. The local cove is delightful - great beaches around 20 mins away. It was ideal to have lots of table space - board games can be played on a Read moredifferent table whilst the main table is laid. The lounge is cosy but most of the time we were in the dining area. My daughter loved seeing the pony each day. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Hide
