This cottage is located in a small hamlet in North Pembrokeshire, just 3.5 miles from the historic market town of Fishguard and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Fishguard has an excellent selection of cafes and restaurants and also plays host to a popular folk festival each year. The coast path can also be accessed from here with miles of stunning scenery and pathways to explore, including a 12-mile walk from Fishguard to pretty Newport. For a day on the sand, head to pebble-backed Abermawr (3.5 miles) or head west to Abereiddy and take the plunge at the Blue Lagoon. St Davids can be reached in just 12 miles, where you can enjoy the shops, bars and restaurants of Britain's smallest city or tour its famous cathedral.
As you enter the cottage, you are welcomed into an open-plan lounge and dining room. The lounge enjoys a three-seater sofa and two armchairs centred around the cosy wood burner – light a fire and relax into the evening after a day of exploring the Pembrokeshire coast. There's a TV with a streaming package so you can keep up with all your favourite shows, and the dining table sits adjacent to the lounge area, comfortably seating four. The contemporary cottage kitchen has all your basic necessities to prepare simple meals or a picnic on the go during your stay and also has the convenience of a washer/dryer. The bathroom completes the ground floor with a shower over the bath, basin and WC. The traditional staircase sits at the centre of the cottage, leading up to your two generously proportioned bedrooms. There's a super-king-size room and a king-size room and both offer ample storage and furniture in keeping with the cosy cottage aesthetic.
Head out into the mature garden and you will find a large lawn area with steps leading up to a dining terrace and additional lawn space. There is a charcoal BBQ and an outdoor picnic table provided for guests to enjoy dining al fresco or a cool drink in the sun after a fun day out.
