Set on a working farm and adjoining another holiday property, this handsome cottage is an ideal getaway for a family or group of friends who want to explore this beautiful part of Pembrokeshire. All around are wonderful walks, views, beaches and coves. Less than a mile away is the small, sandy beach of Porthselau and there are several other lovely beaches are within 3 miles. St Justinian’s cove (less than half a mile away), with its dramatic lifeboat station, is the place to take an exciting wildlife safari or a boat trip to Ramsey Island, the RSPB nature reserve. The tiny cathedral city of St Davids is just a mile away, and includes some great restaurants, shops and pubs, a regular market, a 9-hole golf course and an excellent art gallery-cum-visitor centre.
The two-storey converted mill is furnished with a combination of traditional Welsh character and contemporary amenities. The large lounge has plenty of comfortable seating and a selection of books and board games, and the kitchen/diner – with lovely, tiled floor and high-backed bench seat – is a welcoming space to socialise while preparing a delicious meal. There is also a useful utility room with WC on this floor. Up the open wooden stairs, you’ll find the pretty double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room, three cosy, single bedrooms and a family bathroom.
The grounds outside consist of a private garden area at the rear, a large, shared central garden area with a bench and a BBQ, and a level playing field which is perfect for rounders, football or other games.
