Stay at this enchanting cottage for a relaxing Welsh break in a small group of family or friends. It’s in a rural spot between Snowdonia National Park and the pretty Llyn Peninsula – much of which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As such, there are plenty of scenic walks and cycle rides from your front door. When you’re craving the sea air, head south 5.5 miles and you’ll reach the picturesque Criccieth Beach. Aberdesach Beach is 9 miles north.
Everything is on one floor in this pretty property, which is decorated in a quirky rustic style with lots of attention to detail. You’ll enter a cosy living space with plenty of seating, a wood burner and a TV for kicking back in the evenings. Well-chosen rugs, cushions and vintage furniture add to the traditional atmosphere. The spacious and well-equipped farmhouse kitchen has an Aga to bring out your inner chef, plus a wooden dining table with a bench and chairs, and a cushioned seating area in the corner. When it’s time to retire for the night, head to one of two beautifully decorated bedrooms – a double room with an antique iron bed and a spacious twin room. Both ultra-cosy spaces feature lovely handmade wardrobes. The bathroom, where you can soak in the bath after a busy day exploring, has knick-knacks dotted around that add charm.
From the kitchen, step outside of the oak stable doors to a lovely lawned garden with a wooden table and chairs, where you can enjoy some tranquillity in a natural setting.
