If you want an active holiday, you can go hiking, cycling, pony trekking, golf, water sports and fishing in the local area. There’s also a clay pigeon shooting school less than half a mile from the cottage, and Glasfryn Parc (9 miles) offers a range of activities including bowling, go-karting, archery, and wakeboarding. The popular coastal resorts of Abersoch (3 miles) and Pwllheli (4 miles) boast sandy beaches, water sports, and an eclectic selection of independent restaurants and shops. You can take a day trip to Aberdaron (12 miles) at the tip of the Peninsula and hop on a boat to Bardsey Island to see puffins and grey seals. Other nearby attractions include Criccieth Castle (8 miles) and the Italianate-style village of Portmeirion (20 miles).
