Walk or cycle down the Camel Trail (1 mile), a winding former railway line that runs 18 miles to the fishing town of Padstow through quiet countryside. Jingles has been recognised by We Are Cycling UK as a Cycle Friendly Place and is even part of a Strava segment! St Breward’s historic church is on the doorstep and photogenic Blisland (3.5 miles) has a village green and pub renowned for its range of local ales. For sea and sand, head to picturesque Port Isaac (9 miles). The fishing village, seen in the popular TV series Doc Martin, has great places to eat and wonderful clifftop walks. Trebarwith Strand (8.5 miles), popular with surfers, has a large sandy beach and lifeguards on patrol in summer.
