Sitting beside the pretty tidal creek at Little Petherick, this property is in a uniquely tranquil and picturesque location. With a large sun deck overlooking Saints’ Way creek and a small balcony, it’s perfect for relaxing in the sunshine. There are lots of activities nearby too for the whole family. Walk or drive to Padstow, 3 miles away, and relax on the sandy beaches of the seven bays, or get active and try an exhilarating water sport, go on a relaxing boat trip or a stunning sealife safari. Kayak or canoe right from your door with access to the river either through the house or via the gate in the car park. Explore the busy working harbour and enjoy freshly caught seafood at one of the many excellent restaurants in Padstow, including offerings from Paul Ainsworth and Rick Stein. Treat yourself closer to home at the bistro 200 metres from the property, or the local pub less than 1 mile away. Head out on your bike and cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin (which starts 3 miles from the property) or explore the local area on one of the many walking routes nearby.

Overlooking the creek, there are amazing views from the open-plan living space comprising a large living room/kitchen/diner. Modern and bright with two comfy sofas and French doors out to the sun deck, there’s also a dining area for four and a well-equipped kitchen with everything you could need. The main bathroom completes the ground floor and a spiral staircase in the living room leads up to the first floor. Enjoy the outdoors from upstairs too – French doors in the double bedroom open out onto a small balcony with more incredible views of the creek. The second bedroom has bunk beds and there’s also a shower room on the first floor, making this a perfect family getaway.

There’s a large, decked terrace overlooking the creek with garden furniture for relaxing, as well as the balcony on the first floor, with a table and chairs. A ladder – with a lockable gate – on the decking gives you access to the river when the tide is in.

• To take a kayak/canoe onto the river, please take it through the house carefully or access the river via the gate in the car park
• Please be careful around the decking as there are gaps between the rails
