Located in Porthleven close to the long, golden beach, with plenty to see and do nearby, this stunning cottage is perfect for a large family or group. It provides generous accommodation with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, two dining areas and plenty of outdoor space. As well as being a haven for art and food lovers, Porthleven is on the South West Coast Path and a great spot for walkers. Porthleven Harbour is about a 1-mile walk or drive away and the town also boasts an array of cafés, restaurants, and galleries to visit. Visit the must-see castle and tidal island, St Michaels’ Mount, at Marazion, 8 miles away. Or head south along the Lizard Peninsula to Lizard Point, one of Cornwall’s most iconic spots (13 miles away). Penzance (12 miles), Land’s End (22 miles) and St Ives (17 miles) are all close enough to explore too.

To capitalise on the cottage’s position and stunning sea views, the living room is on the first floor while the bedrooms are on the ground floor. The two larger bedrooms both have en-suite shower rooms, and there’s also a family bathroom so everyone can wash the sand off after a trip to the beach. The first-floor living room has amazing views out to sea all year round, with lots of space to relax and a second dining area. The large, bright kitchen is very well-equipped and leads out to the patio and outdoor dining area through patio doors.

Outside is an enclosed terrace with a dining area for dining alfresco with yet more stunning views. There’s also a patio with a picnic table surrounded by pretty shrubs and flowers.

A lovely cottage but be warned a friendly cat comes in when windows are open. Ok in winter I suppose, but not in summer when we stayed. Not very good for people with allergy to cats (my husband and mom)

Well laid out house with a beautiful view from the upstairs windows over the sea. The bedrooms at the back do look at a wall but it is a house set into a hill so that is to be expected. The kitchen is clean and well laid out and the house is wonderfully located to reach the beach and the harbour. Would recommend and would go back ourselves.

We liked the cottage, which was spacious and well equipped. The beds and sheets were very comfortable and the showers worked well and the towels were also good and abundant. The location is good. This house was perfect for our needs. Great location. 5 min walk to the bustling harbour with plenty of great places to eat/drink. Atlantic View was bigger than we expected. Great private outdoor space for entertaining, looking out at sea or just watching the sunset.
