A charming and spacious cottage in a sleepy hamlet, perfect for a family or group of friends who want a rural Cornish break. Relubbus is a quiet hamlet located inland from Praa Sands (4 miles), near the popular town of Marazion (3 miles) where you can see the famous St Michael’s Mount. The closest restaurant is 0.5 miles away and a shop for picking up essentials can be found in the village next door, in Goldsithney (1.5 miles). Enjoy scenic walks in the surrounding countryside, head to the coast paths or visit one of the nearby sandy beaches – Perranuthnoe Beach (2.5 miles) is the closest.
On entering the property, you’ll be greeted by a warm and homely atmosphere. The dining area has a Mediterranean feel about it from the splashes of colour throughout, the textured, white-painted stone wall and the wooden beamed ceiling. Open up the large patio doors and breathe in the fresh air while enjoying a hearty meal. Adjacent to this space is the kitchen, which continues the cheerful and laid-back feel. Prepare a meal on the spacious countertops while looking out into the garden through the wide window. There is an additional dining room with a smaller table and chairs in front of the attractive ornamental inglenook fireplace. The living area is a cosy room with a characterful wooden ceiling and comfortable sofas which surround the wood burner. Climb the stairs and head into the family bathroom where you can run yourself a bubble bath to unwind before nodding off on the plush king-sized bed in the master bedroom. There are two more bedrooms: a double and a twin.
Outside, there’s a private and sheltered patio area, surrounded by towering trees and pretty shrubs. There’s also an option to dine alfresco at the table and chairs.
