This attractive house on Porthleven’s harbourside is the ideal location for a fun-filled holiday for a large family or group of friends. Within walking distance of all Porthleven’s many attractions, it’s also close to the South West Coastal Path, the market town of Helston (2 miles) and the many spectacular beaches along this part of the Cornish coast. With Penzance 10 miles to the north and The Lizard 13.5 miles to the south, it’s an excellent base from which to explore this rugged stretch of coastline, much of it in the care of the National Trust. The property itself has stunning views of the surrounding coast and harbour.
Steps lead up to the large terrace and the entrance to the property. The spacious lounge comes complete with a cosy wood burner and windows which have magnificent views of the clock tower and impressive outer harbour. There’s also a large dining room with seating for six, a kitchen with sea views, a shower room with WC and utility all on the ground floor. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a double bed, spectacular sea views and an en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom is a twin with sea views and the third bedroom has bunk beds, also with sea views. The family bathroom has a sunken bath and there’s a separate WC so there’s no need to disturb anyone wallowing in the bubbles.
Outside is a large, sunny terrace with picnic benches for watching all the comings and goings in the harbour and enjoying the good weather.
