This stunning three-bedroom cottage, which has been recently refurbished throughout, features quintessentially coastal décor and soft furnishings, with a glorious sandy beach a stone’s throw away. A family-friendly retreat for a seaside break. The iconic fishing port of Porthleven (0.5 miles) boasts seaside restaurants and cafes, plus a granite harbour historically used as a refuge for shipwrecks and smuggling. Running east from the harbour, outside your doorstep explore 3 miles of glorious sand at Porthleven Beach 0.5 miles away and at low tide, walk along to Loe Bar and the Penrose Estate. Ride sky-high rollercoasters and explore a tremendous life-size Victorian Village at Flambards Theme Park (3.5 miles), the perfect family spot featuring something for everyone. Further afield, discover the castle-topped island of St Michael's Mount (9.5 miles), reached across a tidal causeway from Marazion which you can walk at low tide or catch a boat if you leave it too late.

Entering the cottage, you’ll find one king-size bedroom and one double bedroom, decorated in a beautiful on-trend palette of neutrals and grey tones, with the double featuring a unique low window bursting with character. You’ll also find a handy cloakroom WC on this level. Upstairs, you’ll find another king-size bedroom, carrying through the same calm pallet as downstairs. A cosy lounge opposite features another low window and benefits from a large grey sofa and cuddle chairs perfect for unwinding and relaxing. To the rear of the cottage, the first floor opens out into a stunning open-plan kitchen/diner with an ultra-modern U-shaped kitchen well-equipped with everything to cater, flooded with natural light by the gorgeous connected wooden effect conservatory with a large dining table and chairs and access to the garden. The contemporary tiled bathroom on this level features a shower over the bath and WC. A unique, stunning separate feature sunroom with plenty of comfy seating indoors, a skylight, and a glass balcony directly overlooking the beach out to the sea provides the ideal spot to admire the iconic coastline.

Through the French conservatory doors, you’re met with the stunning garden space with a built-in BBQ area and pebbled patio raised up on a mezzanine level accessed via stone steps adorned with modern chrome handrail and railings. The cottage was of a very high standard throughout and was in an excellent position to walk to the harbour with all its amenities. However it sleeps 6 and there was only 2 of us. Lounge not big enough for more than 2 adults and 1 child. Also had problems parking as next door cottage had parked between both parking spaces which are very tight anywaRead morey. Luckily got hold of them to move car so we could park outside. Net loft was an added bonus with wonderful views of the sea. Not suitable for small children or erderley guests as steps inside and out extremely steep. Hide

Beautiful cottage in amazing location. The snug upstairs was perfect to sit in the evening after a lovely day out. The net lift across was wonderful to sit and admire the views. Wonderful afternoon tea that was left was a lovely surprise and very much enjoyed. The bedrooms beds and pillows were fab. Highly recommended

Refurbished to a very high standard. Very comfortable and well finished. Lovely kitchen, bedrooms comfortable, lounge cozy with lovely views of the sea. The star attraction was the 'net loft' with superb views of the sea, with wonderful sunsets.

Lovely cottage and quirky layout. Close to the village, sunroom brilliant as was the weather. Husband found the sofa v uncomfortable ( he has hip problems). The garden seemed a bit uncared for and there was a piece of broken glass on the outside table ( which I binned). The internet didn't work, someone did come out when we reported it, but once on still couldn't download anything, and one of us rarely managed to get on at all. There was a cracked glass and a cracked mug in the cupboard. And a leak under the sink in the downstairs toilet. None of the clocks worked. There was no storage for food, all cupboards wereRead more full of crocks etc. However, the views of the sea from the sitting room, and sun room were amazing. Xx Hide
