The village of Lamorna is small but picturesque and has its own pub which can be accessed via a short stroll on a wooden lane. The cove has a lovely, sheltered beach, popular for swimming and scuba diving. Penzance (5.5 miles) is a bustling town, overlooking Mount’s Bay, with a wide range of shops, restaurants and pubs. Take a visit to the castle on the tidal island, St Michael’s Mount, off the coast from Marazion (10 miles). Alternatively, head to Land’s End (8.5 miles) and take a walk along the most westerly point in the country.
