Located in the heart of Helford village, this beautifully appointed, characterful cottage, is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing, riverside getaway. Helford itself has a pub, cafe and village shop, but the real draw here is the abundance of wildlife and stunning landscapes. Just 8 miles away is the Cornish Seal Sanctuary. You can jump on the ferry from Helford to go over to Helford Passage Beach. Many guests also come for the South West Coast Path which runs through Helford itself.

Inside, the cottage’s stable door opens into the dining room that is partially partitioned from the sitting room. Guests can enjoy cosy nights by the wood burner and relax watching TV should they wish. The lobby beyond the sitting room leads to a handy utility room, downstairs bathroom and a second sitting room with its own sofa. The ground floor is also home to the charming kitchen with an electric AGA. There's a breakfast bar and table and chairs, giving you further options when it's time to sit down to eat. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king-size bed and vaulted ceiling, but the selling point of this room is the quaint alcove with its own armchair perfect for reading and enjoying the views. The other two bedrooms are both twin rooms which benefit from plenty of natural light.

Outside, you can enjoy views down to the river from the delightful, south-east facing elevated terrace, with its own garden furniture and BBQ. Behind the property is a larger terraced garden with a picnic table and yet more great views. Across the lane from the cottage is a slipway for launching boats at high tide. There is also a small lawned area right by the riverside with a bench - yet another lovely spot to enjoy the property’s second-to-none location.

Well Too is an extremely attractive cottage both internally and externally. The location could not be bettered overlooking the village and the river, whilst having the additional bonus of the frontage to the creek. The cottage is really lovely and warm and comfortable! Stunning views of the river. Adored the aga even though Ive never used one before, and the upstairs shower is outstanding! Found the steps up to the cottage rather steep when carrying luggage!

We had a wonderful stay - the weather was a bit hit and miss but we were just as happy to be in the house looking out at one of the nicest views in Cornwall, and being wonderfully comfortable. And so easy to step out the front door to fabulous walks, a lovely pub, and a well stocked shop to keep us supplied! We certainly plan to return, if we canRead more! Hide

A perfect week at Well Too. So much to do and the time flew by. Highlights included lots of coastal and river walks, taking a boat out at St Anthony and generally enjoying the area. The cottage is brilliant and great views and times spent here. The area is a nice hidden gem, not too busy and very welcoming. We hope to return again.

Well too in Helford Cornwall was an absolutely delightful place. Such a beautiful cottage with ample room for all of us. Set in such a beautiful tranquil location on the estuary. Back garden was very steep, and the views from the different tiers were amazing. Had a very good time celebrating an 80th birthday at Well Too. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. The weather was kind. We hope to come back again one day.

Great cottage and location. Disappointed that one of the showers did not work properly plus toaster constantly set off smoke alarms (faulty toaster not us). Also felt cottage should have provided blankets as cold at night (before warmer weather) and duvets v thin. Otherwise great

Very comfortable stay. Wonderful two weeks sailing, messing about on the water and swimming. The cottage is perfectly positioned and the little quay made all the difference to boating adventures. The perfect cottage for our little group to relax and do boating and crafty things. Thank you.

There would have been full marks, but the description did mention own boathouse, but there was no key for it. However, this did not pose a problem for us.
