A charming two-storey property situated in a picturesque village, this cottage is an idyllic retreat for families, couples or friends wishing to explore Cornwall's many nearby attractions. Little Petherick is a pretty village at the head of Petherick Creek. From the village, there's a 6-mile circular walk leading to the medieval port of Padstow. Alternatively, Padstow is 3 miles away by car and you can explore the harbour, independent shops and galleries and sample the local seafood in the many restaurants. Padstow is also at one end of The Camel Trail, an 18-mile, largely off-road track that follows the old railway route to Bodmin and is perfect for walking or cycling. If you prefer water sports like surfing, the nearest beach is Trevone (3 miles).
This cottage, built around 1850, has a light and airy feel and is stylishly decorated. The entrance leads directly into a snug room with a sofa and TV. Through an archway, you enter the lounge and dining area. The lounge has comfortable seating from which to watch TV, a beautiful bay window with a window seat and a fireplace with a wood burner for cosy evenings in the cooler months. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances to cater to your needs and has large patio doors leading to a small patio area. A wet room and a bathroom, both with WCs, complete the ground floor features. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms - a double with views over the fields and a twin with an attractive bay window.
