Great spot out of the way from the town centre. You definitely need a car or motorised transport to get around as the nearest towns are c.15 miles from the accommodation. Lovely site, all the facilities you could need and wonderful hosts! Would love to visit again at some stage.

We are regular travellers and would rate this place as one of the nicest, best-located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was clean, full of character, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was in close distance to all the sites we wanted to see. Absolutely wow! Tynddol Isaf is an absolutely beautiful place to stay, nestled in the most rugged and natural Welsh landscape - it took our breath away. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful and gave us some priceless pointers of things to do locally. The property is lovely, everything you could hope and wish for is provided and it really diRead mored feel like a home from home - even the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The beautiful River Ystwyth flows alongside the property and had endless fun having "conversations" with the Sheep and Cows that were in the neighbouring fields! We managed to do all we wanted to - Devils Bridge, Fish and Chips in Aberystwyth, the Four Waterfalls, The Butterfly Farm and last but not least climbed all the way to the top of Pen Y Fan. If I could recommend anything, go do the Hafod Estate walks that are only 15 minutes from Tynddol Isaf, some of the most breath-taking walks we have ever done and the most incredible scenery. All in all, the most wonderous of stays, the loveliest of hosts and we will definitely look to come back again. Hide

Lovely stay here, the owners couldn't do enough for us. Adjusted the heating for our son, brought games out and recommended fabulous places. Little Italy in Aberystwyth is a must try! Fantastic weekend with perfect weather, and we got engaged in the living room. So won't forget this place anytime soon!
