Head out on cycles rides or walks across the countryside or plan visits to the market town of Holt, 5 miles away, with its spectrum of independent shops, cafes and eateries. Visit the seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer, 10.5 and 14 miles away, where you can also swim and paddle in the sea, or Wells-next-the-Sea, 13 miles away, with its expansive, sandy beach.
Tear yourselves away from the attractive grounds and wander into the splendid barn to experience its beautiful interior and generous space. Find yourselves in an airy, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with sliding doors that can be pulled right back on pleasant days to create a seamless flow with the lawned garden. Settle on the soft seating to watch the Smart TV, with Freesat, together or a film on the DVD player. Light the wood burner on chilly evenings to bring a relaxing glow. Make your way over to the kitchen area, with built-in electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and wine fridge to pour yourself a cool drink or to make a cup of tea to enjoy in the window seat overlooking the lake. Find you also have a dishwasher and washer/dryer to make your stay as easy as possible. Set the table in the dining room for 10 and call everyone over to enjoy holiday feasts together. At the end of each fun-filled day, head off for a good night’s sleep in one of the five sumptuous, super-king-size bedrooms. Each of these can be made up as a twin if arranged in advance and four come with en-suite shower rooms, with walk-in showers and WCs, while one has an en-suite bathroom, with bath, shower cubicle and WC. Enjoy relaxing out in the enclosed garden on warm days, watching the children play on the lawn and looking out across the lake from the patio, which has a glass balustrade.
