Discover this romantic cottage for two in the peaceful village of Bellerby in the Yorkshire Dales. Less than 2 miles from the popular market town of Leyburn, this single-storey retreat is in a wonderful spot for a relaxing break. If you fancy some outdoor adventures, then Aysgarth Falls (9.5 miles), How Stean Gorge (22 miles) and Adrenalin North Yorkshire (10 miles) are all nearby. Or, if some local history is more your thing, then you might like to visit Bolton Castle (7.5 miles), Easby Abbey (8.5 miles) or Kiplin Hall (15 miles). You could also enjoy a date night in the charming town of Richmond (7.5 miles) where there is a theatre and a great selection of restaurants.

Ascend a step to the porch, then head into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and settle on the sofa in front of the wood burner for a film on the Smart TV. The kitchen area has everything you could need to whip up a romantic meal, which you can serve at the dining table. As day turns to night, the en-suite double bedroom with a Smart TV offers a soothing space to put your feet up and watch the last of the sunset over the garden and brook.

Button Cottage was small but well equipped, and we enjoyed our stay. The village gave access to walks in the fields and on the streets, and the Thursday teatime fish and chip van was a highlight!

Description said there was a tea room and a pub yards away from the cottage. These had both closed down. Felt that this should have been updated in your description. We also had to access the property by going through two other peoples gardens. We booked this for the enclosed garden for our dog but we had to go into the other garden before we couldRead more access our garden Hide
