St Merryn is the central point of Cornwall’s fantastic Seven Bays area, complete with seven fantastic beaches offering sun, surf and sea. Each of these is accessible within 4 miles and linked by the seemingly endless South West Coast Path. Foodies will find plenty of appeal in celebrity chef-owned restaurants at Padstow (3 miles) and Watergate Bay (7.5 miles), whilst those eager to explore the county by bike will be thrilled by the holiday home's proximity to the Camel Trail, a route that leads all the way to Bodmin Moor, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (16 miles).

Presented with clean white walls and no-fuss interiors, this two-storey accommodation is certain to offer you an instant home-from-home welcome. Step inside to find a sociable lounge/diner on the ground floor. The lounge and dining areas are separated by a stone wall feature with built-in flame effect electric fire. The living room side of the space has been furnished with cushy seating solutions and a TV with Now TV and a DVD player for a relaxing retirement spot after enjoying a hearty meal. French doors lead out to a sunny conservatory with additional seating and table tennis that children (or those young at heart) will love. Completing the ground floor is a truly spacious kitchen with the added benefits of a Bluetooth speaker, coffee machine and dishwasher, along with a ground-floor WC. Venture up a single flight of stairs to find three bedrooms nestled under the property’s eaves. Each boasting a skylight to flood the room with light, these rooms are made up as a generous king-size with TV/DVD, an additional king-size and a cosy twin room that children will love. Finally, a family bathroom is available for all to share.

Children can play safely in the beautiful garden just outside. Set to lawn and boasting a picnic table, this enclosed grassy spot is perfect for summer evenings.

We enjoyed our stay at Castaways. Plenty of space and clean. Table tennis table was a great addition which we used a few times. Location to this excellent village was great.

Lovely place to stay, Walking distance to great places to eat and drink. Home is well equipted. Table Tennis table is a big bouns. A nice quite and Friendly village..

Castaways is a definite return to property, its really well situated to visit north Cornwall and beyond. Its a very clean, comfortable and well equipped place, thats a quick stroll away from the village amenities.

Fantastic Place! Beds & Sofa very comfortable. Shower & bath both great. Everything you could want in the kitchen. Local shops & takeaways very handy & in walking distance. Would def. go again when in the area.

We stayed at Castaways Sept 2023 .. one week /four adults. Great location to explore Cornwall. Booking and stay arrangements very easy. Castaways was excellent. Tucked away in very quiet area. The house was spotlessly clean and very spacious. Garden areas lovely ,,, private and not overlooked at all. Plenty of room for a dog and children to runRead more around. Beds very comfortable. Bed linen and towels excellent. Plenty of room. Upstairs bathroom big with large walk-in shower and bath. 2nd toilet downstairs. The kitchen was very spacious and had everything you could possibly need. All in great condition. Lounge and Conservatory area lovely. table tennis great fun. The driveway has room for one care but there is plenty of off road parking by Castaway. There was nothing we could fault and We definitely plan to stay again. 10/10 Hide

We absolutely loved staying at Castaways, we would highly recommend it. With 3 young children, we couldnt have asked for a more child/family friendly place to stay - just brilliant.

We found Castaways immaculately clean lots of equipment and utensils. Beds were comfortable. Lots of space, Now TV and table tennis a bonus. Good location to visit North Cornwall. We would definitely recommend Castaways.

Our third stay at Castaways. Very comfortable and well equipped house with a good sized garden. The conservatory with a full size table tennis table is very handy for wet days.
