A big bonus to this property’s location is the onsite access to salmon and trout fishing along the River Usk so bring your rod and tackle with you. Defynnog is home to the International Welsh Rarebit Centre - this is a great spot for some lunch. You will find handy amenities like a garage and shop in nearby Sennybridge (1 mile) as well a pony trekking at Gilfrach Equitation which is 3 miles away and you can also enjoy golf at Brecon Golf Club (8 miles). A bit further afield is the market town of Brecon (8 miles) where you can enjoy boating along the River Usk; it is also the origin point of the long-distance Taff Trail which winds 56 miles south to Cardiff. Bring your telescope for stargazing - the area is an official Dark Sky Reserve.
