This stone cottage is the perfect base for a family break to the Yorkshire Dales. Situated in the village of Thwaite, the cottage is close to the Pennine Way offering miles upon miles of walks through the Dales, while there are a great many peaks and fells to scale too. Thwaite’s waterfall and stream are just beside the cottage, creating a relaxing ambience. There are many popular Dales villages close to the property, including Muker (1.5 miles), Reeth (10 miles) and Aysgarth (11 miles).
Inside this pretty stone cottage is a lounge/diner – a lovely, social space with a characterful beamed ceiling, perfect for relaxing in after days out in the Dales. There is ample comfortable seating alongside a TV, DVD player and an open fire in a feature fireplace. Also on this floor is a kitchen with everything you need, plus beautiful views over the village. Climb 12 steps up to the first floor where there are the property’s two bedrooms: a double and a twin. They share the bathroom.
Outside, the property enjoys a very pretty setting next to the brook, with a shared area and a table and chairs for enjoying the views. There is also another shared patio area to the front of the property.
