Sleeping five, this pretty stone cottage is in the perfect location for a relaxing getaway to the Yorkshire Dales. With a stream and waterfall at the bottom of the garden, the cottage enjoys a peaceful setting in the village of Thwaite and is close to the village’s tearoom, hotel and bar. The Pennine Way runs close to the village, and there are many peaks and fells in the surrounding area too. Within 11 miles are the popular destinations of Muker, Aysgarth and Reeth, all offering great days out.
Enter the property into a porch with storage and a freezer, which leads through to the lounge/diner. This social room has ample comfortable seating, a TV and DVD player and a dining table and chairs, with lovely views over the meadows. A beamed ceiling and the cottage’s original range add character, and the range is still in great working order. Take a small step up to the well-equipped kitchen which leads through to the utility room and laundry room. On the first floor, ten steps up, are the property’s three bedrooms: a king-size, a twin room and a single room. They share a bathroom, also on this floor, and the first two bedrooms also enjoy beautiful views.
Step out from the ground floor to the patio area at the rear of the property; there is also a patio to the front which makes the most of the countryside views.
