Lose yourselves in the incredible views from this rare holiday retreat on the cliffs at Cromer. Dating back to 1926, and originally the coastguard’s lookout, this individual abode now makes a wonderful place for families and groups of friends to stay. Sleeping six guests, and also welcoming one dog, the three-bedroom cottage is not only ideal for days out on the beach, just 150 metres away, but is also perfect for anyone wishing to follow a stretch of the long-distance Norfolk Coast Path, in either direction. Take a gentle 2.5-mile stroll, for example, to West Runton, where the remains of a fossilised mammoth were found in the cliffs, or hike on to Sheringham, another Victorian town, 4.5 miles away.
Tear yourselves away from the views to enter this inviting holiday home and find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Relax in here when you are not basking out in the sunshine in the garden. Recline on the comfortable seating to enjoy the TV, with Freesat, DVD player and CD player, or make your way over to the dining table to play games and enjoy meals together. Amble into the conservatory to take in the views over a cup of tea and to enjoy a few moments to yourself. The kitchen is equipped with a built-in electric oven, electric induction hob, microwave and fridge, with icebox. At the end of each exciting day, head off to the three bedrooms: a bunk room which are adult bunks but also suitable for children, a twin room, and a king-size. The king-size is accessed via two steps down and has an en-suite shower room, with walk-in shower and WC. There is also a family bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and houses a washing machine, and there is a separate WC. A freezer and tumble dryer can be found in a shed in the garden.
Spread out into the sunny garden at every opportunity and while away hours simply gazing out at the views. Light the BBQ out here on summer evenings and enjoy a drink as the sun sets. The garden is enclosed, but please be aware There is parking for three or four cars, and secure bike storage in the shed.
