Property code: OC-1909

Lose yourselves in the incredible views from this rare holiday retreat on the cliffs at Cromer. Dating back to 1926, and originally the coastguard’s lookout, this individual abode now makes a wonderful place for families and groups of friends to stay. Sleeping six guests, and also welcoming one dog, the three-bedroom cottage is not only ideal for days out on the beach, just 150 metres away, but is also perfect for anyone wishing to follow a stretch of the long-distance Norfolk Coast Path, in either direction. Take a gentle 2.5-mile stroll, for example, to West Runton, where the remains of a fossilised mammoth were found in the cliffs, or hike on to Sheringham, another Victorian town, 4.5 miles away.

Tear yourselves away from the views to enter this inviting holiday home and find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Relax in here when you are not basking out in the sunshine in the garden. Recline on the comfortable seating to enjoy the TV, with Freesat, DVD player and CD player, or make your way over to the dining table to play games and enjoy meals together. Amble into the conservatory to take in the views over a cup of tea and to enjoy a few moments to yourself. The kitchen is equipped with a built-in electric oven, electric induction hob, microwave and fridge, with icebox. At the end of each exciting day, head off to the three bedrooms: a bunk room which are adult bunks but also suitable for children, a twin room, and a king-size. The king-size is accessed via two steps down and has an en-suite shower room, with walk-in shower and WC. There is also a family bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and houses a washing machine, and there is a separate WC. A freezer and tumble dryer can be found in a shed in the garden.

Spread out into the sunny garden at every opportunity and while away hours simply gazing out at the views. Light the BBQ out here on summer evenings and enjoy a drink as the sun sets. The garden is enclosed, but please be aware There is parking for three or four cars, and secure bike storage in the shed.

Lovely cottage with everything you need for a weeks holiday. We spent our afternoons in the conservatory enjoying views of the sea & the big skys. Great garden & parking. Ideal location close for all amenities. Nice that cottage has been in the same family for decades.

You cannot beat this location. It is by far what dreams are made of. The bed in the King room was exceptional. We lived in the conservatory for most of our holiday. We loved it, and have some beautiful memories from our stay.

Lovely holiday, perfect peaceful location but near enough to walk into Cromer with our dog. Holiday went too quick, can't wait to book & return next year.

Very comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. Fabulous location, just a short walk into town. Very private, not overlooked atall. We enjoyed staying here, both out and about in Cromer and spending time relaxing at The Lookout.

Comfortable and cozy place to use as a base for exploring this corner of Norfolk, Cromer is a smashing sea-side town and offers plenty of options for a good beer and food, if a little pricey. Great walks from here and the sea view is very good. We went out of season so not everything open yet, but will provide whole family entertainment as you'd exRead morepect. Hide

Perfect location. Easy walk with little children into the town and a delight to return after a busy few hours just to sit and and take in the view from the huge back garden ( that envelopes the property) which over looks the sea . Clean and airy property. Will definitely consider coming back here.
