The garden with patio and lawns is at the rear, bordered by a wire fence. Set over two levels and furnished with a table, chairs and a BBQ, it’s ideally set up for al fresco family meals. Here you may also catch a glimpse of birds flying in and out of a nesting box attached to the shed which has plenty of beach items you can borrow.

The cottage was absolutely perfect. Every evening, we sat facing the fields, watching the world go by it was so peaceful and relaxing. I had been a little apprehensive about the roads and walking into Abersoch, but they were quiet and safe, even with a dog and a pram. The cottage itself is beautifully kept and had everything we needed for a comforRead moretable stay. If youre bringing a dog, I highly recommend visiting Hells Mouth beach its just a 5-minute drive away, and we often had the beach almost entirely to ourselves, with miles of sand to explore. The nearby farm shop is also worth a visit, and its now a fully licensed bar, which was a lovely surprise. I honestly couldnt speak highly enough of this cottage it was perfect in every way. Hide

A beautiful spot in between Porth Neigwl and Abersoch. Walks from the cottage are lovely albeit the lane can get busy at pub time! Watch out for fast cars! The cottage has a great upstairs, two larger bedrooms and one tiny one. It is warm and easy to be in. Decor a little dated so it depends if you mind that. We'd recommend the Sun Inn for foodRead more and found Pauline, the cottage owner to be really welcoming checking we were Ok via text/what's app. Hide

Lovely place - extremely clean. The views are amazing and we spent most evenings just looking out of the window. Great location - handy for lots of beaches and a short ( hilly) walk to a very nice pub. There is a farm shop very close by - what more could you want?

Ideally situated in a nice quiet spot. Pleasant walk to the beach both ways. It was perfect for us, the views were lovely with the lounge being upstairs and the dog enjoyed the large garden.

The Brambles is a lovely home. It is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine etc, as well as little things like some staples in the cupboard. The log burner makes it really cosy at night. The location is perfect; just a few minutes drive from Abersoch centre and there are some lovely walks (you can walk down the lanes to Machroes beach) witRead moreh stunning views of the sea, mountains and countryside. The Sun Inn, where you can get good food, is also in walkable distance. Ian and Pauline kindly left a welcome note and a bottle of wine for us on our arrival and gave us their number to contact if we needed to. Abersoch is a little gem, with beautiful beaches and breathtaking views. Don't just stick to the centre but explore the area. If you choose to stay here you won't be disappointed! Hide

The property itself is very good and has all the basics you are likely to need if you are used to self catering. A good pub and farm shop are within easy reach and the beaches are walking distance for the active although with a free carpark at Hells Mouth why would you walk? If you have children you can always hope the farmer puts the bull in with the herd right outside the picture window, great entertainment for kids!
