We had a very relaxing week. Apartment is in the perfect location. Spent hours on the balcony watching the waves & reading. Great corner shop right behind the apartment. Would recommend The Loft for an evening meal; pricey but delicious. You need change for the washing machine & take your own hand soap as none provided. This rental is all about the location and it really delivers. It has amazing views from the lounge and the bedroom and has a balcony to sit on and watch the waves break on the sand. It is also close to the town centre, has the Norway stores directly opposite, and has parking (more about that in a minute). here is parking underneath the flat but bewRead moreare if you have a SUV as it is not for the fainthearted. The spaces are between concrete pillars. The guidance recommends a small car with good reason. The parking space adjoins another flat's space which happened to have a very large SUV in it when I arrived. Even though it was parked very close to the wall it was a struggle to fit my small car in (VW Polo), let alone get out. I have stayed at other places along the front and their parking is more practical. Hide

We have stayed at #3 Piazza 5 times now. The location is perfect. The view from the apartment is spectacular. You can walk all over St Ives in minutes. We nip over to the Porthmeor Beach Cafe for coffee and crouissants most mornings. Yes, the parking space is very tight but I get my VW T-Cross in every year. The beach comes up to your balconyRead more but you need to go around through a private entrance to get to the beach, which is no problem. We like the location and view so much that we eat most of the time in the apartment. But there are many eating and drinking establishments nearby plus The Norways Store is right behind the Piazza and they have just about anything you need for food, drink and essential items. Hide

A fantastic beach side property, you could not be closer to the beach unless you were standing on it! The pic was a little misleading in that it looks as though the balcony is directly on to the sand but it is about 10ft above - we didn't realise there was quite a drop and we had a 2yr old and 4yr old with us so it meant keeping the balcony closed Read moreat all times as its not protected. I have also had to feedback about the cleanliness of the apartment. The owners are definitely being let down by the contractors that are cleaning the apartment, as the standard was unacceptable; dirty cupboards, furniture not cleaned down, rugs not hoovered, old hairs (that were not ours!) in places that should have been cleaned, windows caked in bird filth, to name but a few of the issues. I feel that the apartment itself needs a very good refresh, it was old and grubby in many places, but in terms of its location you really are winning. There is a laundry which is brilliant given that most things get sandy! Albeit you have to pay at least 5 per wash. If the owners were to do a refresh on the property and also ensure the cleanliness of the apartment then we would definitely visit again. Hide

Property is in a superb location with lovely views over porthmeor. There's no washing machine in the property, and theoretically there is a communal laundry, but this was out of action for an upgrade whilst we were there.
