The bustling harbour is just 200 metres away, with a choice of great places to eat and drink close to the quayside. The cottage is within easy reach of some gorgeous beaches, all within a few hundred metres: Bamaluz, Porthmeor, Porthgwidden and Harbour Sands. The Island is a grassy peninsula immediately to the north where birdwatchers can spot oystercatchers and skuas. Heading into the main part of town to the south, you will find a wealth of fantastic galleries including the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, Porthminster Gallery and Tate St Ives.
Entering this bright and friendly cottage, you will find the lounge. With plenty of seating, and a wood burner-effect gas fire set in an exposed stone wall, this light and comfortable room makes a lovely space for everyone to get together and relax at the end of a great day. The country-style kitchen/diner has a sociable dining area and plenty of equipment so you can enjoy a fantastic family meal together. Heading upstairs, there are three cool and refreshing bedrooms on the first floor. The first is a cheerful double room with a Smart TV, and there’s also a sweet twin room and a spacious single. The property also features a large family bathroom. The landing has some handy additional storage space.
Cars can easily pull up outside the property to unload and the property has its own parking space located about 100 metres away, overlooking the beautiful Porthgwidden Beach giving you total freedom to come and go throughout the day. Stress free parking is a big bonus in St Ives. Also close to the property is the St Ives Museum which leads down to the gorgeous Bamaluz Beach.
