Situated in a pedestrianised cobbled street in the heart of St Ives, this lovely cottage offers families or groups of friends the perfect combination of peaceful location and town centre convenience. St Ives is a beautiful seaside town where visitors can enjoy a traditional beach holiday with a twist. It's easy to understand why the town has been attracting painters, sculptors and ceramists for decades, with its stunning scenery and natural quality of light. One of only four Tate Galleries in the world is located in the heart of the town. The town itself focuses around the working harbour, home of the historic fishing community. You could lose yourself for hours in the charming narrow streets crammed with gift and craft shops, art galleries, top-notch restaurants and welcoming local pubs. St Ives also has four fabulous beaches, Porthmeor, Porthgwidden, Harbour beach and Porthminster, which offer miles of golden sand and hours of building sand castles, playing in the rock pools and other family-friendly activities. For the surfers, the sweeping sands and consistent waves of Gwithian and Godrevy are 9 miles away. Throughout the year, St Ives has a busy event calendar, including the St Ives Food & Drink Festival in May and a Music & Arts Festival in September. Not to be missed, the incredible St Michael’s Mount is a 9-mile drive away, and the rugged coastline of Land’s End, Britain’s most westerly point, is 18 miles from your door.

This stylish cottage is warm and welcoming, with a modern yet homely feel. Entering the open-plan lounge/diner, the space is light and airy with wooden floors, large comfy sofas and exposed beams overhead. To the rear, the refurbished kitchen is finished in a seaside blue and comes complete with everything you need for dining at home. Upstairs, on the first floor, is an attractive double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a separate bedroom with a bunk bed. Both these bedrooms offer sea views. There is also a tiled family bathroom with a bath and shower. On the second floor, you will find a large, light-filled double bedroom with picture windows at each end offering panoramic views over Porthmeor on one side and Hayle Bay on the other.

There is no outside space at this property.

Ideal location, excellent views from upper floors. Lovely cottage, kitchen well equipped. It is worth noting for less able people that there are steps up to the front door and the steps up to the 2nd floor bedroom are very steep.
