Located off the slipway to the beach at Porthmeor, a couple, small family, or solo traveller will find it's just a few steps from the apartment to the sand and mere metres to the delights of St Ives. Spend your days indulging in some classic seaside fun, building sandcastles, rock-pooling and surfing. The gift shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs that line St Ives’ narrow streets are just a stone’s throw away, as is the world-renowned St Ives Tate Gallery, and the town's working harbour is a 150-meter walk from your door. Throughout the year, St Ives has a busy event calendar, including the St Ives Food & Drink Festival in May and a Music & Arts Festival in September, both hugely popular with locals and visitors alike. For the walkers, the apartment is situated directly on the South West Coast Path, offering access to some stunning scenery and spectacular views of the town. Further afield, the awesome sight of St Michael's Mount is 9 miles away, and the rugged, exposed cliffs of Land's End are particularly impressive during a winter storm.

Coming straight off the beach and into your door, you are met by a light and bright open-plan living area with a wonderful window seat with views down to the beach and ocean beyond. The large sofa is a double futon bed, and the room is finished in a modern style with contemporary artworks on the wall and a well-equipped kitchen to the rear. The bedroom has adjoining single beds and again features a lovely window seat with sea views. The bathroom is stylishly finished with stone tiles and continues with a sense of modernity.

Beautiful cosy and welcoming little flat. Absolutely perfect for my husband and I together with our little dog. Right on the doorstep of an amazing beach with a second beach only minutes away. St Ives harbour and all it has to offer is a 5 minute walk. A lovely home from home property in a perfect location. Can't wait till our next visit.

Wonderful location, ideal for Porthmeor and Porthgwidden beaches. A bright, roomy, well-equipped apartment, nice to have a proper big bathroom with bath and shower.

A very convenient location . What marred it was the renovation being carried out in the apartment above . Noise up to 8 pm and starting at 8 am .

The location of the property is the main selling point. The property is good size and well equipped. We liked the decor and the attention to detail (art was beautiful and not just commercial cheesy beach paintings, books were interesting and helpful etc) The furniture was of good quality and comfortable. There were only a few points to note - thereRead more were parts that werent clean (i.e. lamp in the kitchen was greasy and sticky, cob webs on lampshades and in corners etc) We were there over Easter and it was quite cold at night as the quilts were thin. There was extra quilts and pillows but no extra linen so we couldnt use it. And though having an allocated parking space is amazing in St Ives, please note that the space is very tight. Our car is average size and there were times when Id park the car and not be able to get out of the space. These are all small things that can be easily fixed. Other than that, we had an amazing holiday and will definitely return to 49 St Nicholas Court and recommend it to anyone who will listen. Hide

Easy booking system, kept me informed by text and email, with all instructions for cottage. The cottage was well equipped with plenty of cooking utensils, plates, glasses cups etc. Very comfortable bed and furnishings. Free Wifi, and BT internet and Netflix, very impressed. Overall a lovely holiday. The only downside was that the parking spaceRead more was very tight, on the last day I had to literally climb over my car bonnet to get to the drivers door, (Im 65 !!) no space to walk between cars or walls.
